Here’s what you can get with your Vivint security system
Unlike other security companies, Vivint’s security and automation services are available to renters. Here are a few of the more popular components and services:
Intrusion detection
Motion alarms and glass break sensors can notify you when an unwanted intruder comes into your place. Receive an alert to your mobile device when an device trips, or arm and disarm your alarms and cameras remotely to let in guests or maintenance when you’re out.
Environmental safety detectors
Ordinary smoke detectors will come standard with your rental unit, but probably not other environmental alarms. Install a wireless carbon monoxide detector or flood alarm to notify you and your monitoring team to problems before it’s too late.
HD security cameras
A security cameras may be wirelessly hung so you can watch over indoor rooms. A doorbell camera lets you view -- and converse with -- visitors at the door. Get real-time HD feeds and texts about lurkers through the Vivint App.
Round-the-clock monitoring
A big benefit of choosing Vivint is the monitoring team that back up your alarms. When a component trips, your monitoring team immediately contacts you to ensure you’re safe. Then they’ll phone the emergency agency.
Smart home components
Automation components, like smart bulbs, can be added to make your rental more eco-friendly. Some devices like a smart thermostat or smart locks may involve prior office approval.
The Vivint App
Your Baton Rouge security system can be controlled anywhere through the Vivint App. View HD security camera feeds, remotely turn on and off components, or set up schedules for all your smart devices. Then receive notifications to your smartphone if a device goes off or a camera sees suspicious motion.
